Coeliac disease affects 1-1.4% of the global population, with prevalence rising to 4% by 2040. Yet 77% of people with coeliac disease have been accidentally exposed to gluten when eating out, driving anxiety and social exclusion. This represents £47.8M in missed UK restaurant revenue annually. glüf solves this gap with over 1,000 users searching for safe, gluten-free restaurants - evidence that coeliacs will use a tool they trust.

glüf is an AI-powered restaurant discovery app built for people with coeliac disease. We spent a lot of time in 2025 building, iterating, and talking to coeliacs one-on-one in research interviews. Exhibiting at the Free From Festival was the first time this year that we put ourselves in front of the community at scale.
